Description
Qatar Airways is looking for experienced staff to join our invoice to pay (I2P) team as Manager to drive the Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India.
The position will be responsible for overall performance of the entire I2P process ensuring seamless service delivery, maximum stakeholder satisfaction and effective people management.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the daily operations and reporting of I2P off shore Services
- Team lead for design and development of policies and procedures to govern payments
- Single point of contact for all I2P related matters in GBS Finance Invoice to Pay, Ahmedabad
- Daily coordination and collaboration with on-shore team and management based in Doha, Qatar
- Monthly closure of AP financial records accurately and recorded and reconciling liabilities of vendor statements and aged payables
- Adherence to all statutory and legal requirements
- Report and monitor SLAs and KPIs for the process
- Cultivate and maintain positive vendor / stakeholder relations
- Identify risks association with service delivery and escalate / mitigate / resolve as required

Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) with relevant experience or ACA/ ACCA/ CPA
- Prior exposure of managing I2P GBS operations
- Experience in a senior reporting & accounting or business control role at BU or Global Business Services (GBS)
- Working knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred)
- Preferred experience in the Aviation Industry
- Certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt will be an advantage
- Customer service mindset with excellent customer service skills
