Legal Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the role
In your role as the company’s dedicated fleet transaction counsel, you will be responsible for the company’s fleet acquisition, financing and leasing matters.
Responsibilities
- Managing all legal aspects of Wizz Air’s fleet transactions (including acquisitions, leases, financings, deliveries, re-deliveries and novation).
- Reviewing and negotiation of contracts of varying complexity with aircraft lessors, manufacturers and suppliers.
- Managing specialized external counsel.
- Liaising with Wizz Air Fleet Acquisition and Finance team.
Experience
- 3-5+ years work experience gained in a reputable law firm / corporate environment as an associate.
- Corporate law experience is a must.
- Experience supporting endtoend transaction processes is desired.
Language
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Skills and competencies
- Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills
- Project management experience
- Strong corporate law knowledge and transactional experience
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence
- Excellent execution and coordinating skills
- Pro-active and pragmatic attitude
- Ability to travel
