Innovation & Sustainability Development Manager

Job Description:

Mission:

Support Airbus’ technology and sustainability strategy in South Korea, by creating synergies between Airbus growth objectives in South Korea, Airbus subsidiaries in South Korea, regional innovation & sustainability ecosystem, and Airbus TCOs’, in particular the job holder mission includes:

Aviation sustainability/decarbonization development (Local - South Korea)

• Support APAC team on defining and implementing APAC decarbonization strategy for South Korea 
• Map and engage with South Korea ecosystem for SAF supply, especially with energy stakeholders, technology providers, and feedstock suppliers
• Develop and manage projects enabling the supply of SAF in South Korea, from feedstock mapping, techno-economic analysis, feasibility study, and partnership setup

Airbus Research & Technology(R&T) coordinator (Technology & Innovation Stakeholders - South Korea)

• Support, develop, and manage R&T projects, including public funding acquisition
• Facilitate project initiation, monitoring, and closure in coordination with internal customers and R&T Support
• Aligned with the scouting team in Europe, identify and build a network with start-ups, incubators, investors and corporates, and follow up projects when bilateral or multilateral cooperation is launched
• Ensure network and strong relationships with key research institutions and all relevant key players in the technical domain
• Manage relations with local universities and technical schools that could be relevant for R&T cooperation

Public Affairs Support (Local - South Korea)

• Manage relationships with governmental stakeholders in support of Airbus Chief Representative(ACR) from ministry to province level authority engagements 
• Special focus on increasing aviation sustainability, including (but not limited to) policies on sustainable aviation fuel, operation optimization, distributive technology, market-based measures.
• Support central and regional teams exchanges with EU embassies, EU delegations, and other international government bodies relevant to Airbus
• Responsible for organising and hosting aviation-related seminars with regulatory bodies 
• Attend government-related events, exhibitions and seminars themed under above mentioned agendas
