Job Summary:
As the Supply Chain Manager, this pivotal role will center around creating a Supply Chain strategy including identifying and establishing partnerships with suppliers. You will play a critical part in the growth and success of this pioneering UAV/drone operation by leveraging your expertise to identify, vet, and collaborate with suppliers who align with their technology. You’ll work closely with a global executive team and drive the development of a robust supply chain to ensure the availability of high-quality components for a UAV/drone that will revolutionize an industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the global leadership team and drive the development and execution of the company's comprehensive supply chain strategy including the defining of the company's sourcing objectives.
- Take ownership of identifying, and vetting tier-one suppliers who align with the company's UAV manufacturing requirements in the aerospace and/or automotive industries.
- Conduct a thorough assessment of potential partners' capabilities, quality standards, production capacity, and financial stability.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of a skilled and motivated Supply Management Team.
- Develop and implement supply chain processes, systems, and best practices.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to establish purchase agreements including detailed statements of work with selected suppliers.
- In collaboration with a global leadership team take the lead in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize costs and secure long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular reviews with suppliers to ensure compliance with all elements of the Purchase Agreement and the statements of work.
