Job Description:
Assist in budget preparation of physical plant maintenance and repair via record keeping methods and assessment of same.
· Maintains, monitors and on a monthly basis evaluates recycling programs and waste handling processes for their effectiveness.
· Knowledgeable in implementation coordination and execution of physical plant preventive maintenance programs. The expected results should be: reduced equipment down-time, ensured full life expectancy of equipment, more effective budget preparation based on historic data, 90 planned task oriented man-power utilization and improved service order response.
· Coordinates Security and parking activities to ensure adherence to appropriate regulatory agencies: FAA, Airport Authority, etc.
· Assists with all phases of Facility Maintenance, repair and monitoring as needed to efficiently operate a 24-hour industrial facility.
· Coordinates daily operations of assigned GSE and Facility personnel.
· Ensure personnel is trained and qualified.
· Delegate work assignments based on schedule priorities and staff experience.
· Routinely tour the Hangars and facility to evaluate daily operations and resolve any issues as identified.
· Manage, track, and take responsibility for all vehicles and equipment used in support of the Maintenance and Facility operations.
· Enforce and lead safety programs for all employees.
· Execute short term and long term improvement objectives and report results weekly/monthly.
· Ensure all records/reports for EH&S and Facilities are prepared on a timely basis.
· Manage the day to day repairs, maintenance and upkeep of all facilities.
· Schedule contractors for facilities projects.
· Maintain GSE fleet to include: daily, weekly and annual maintenance and inspection programs.
· Oversee GSE inventory and equipment purchases.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 4 to 7 years of Facility Management experience.
· Strong management skills and ability to operate within assigned guidelines and budget constraints.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Knowledge and experience with EH&S requirements and reporting
· Self-motivated, strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
· Proficient with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
· Possess a valid drivers license.
· Ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
· Continuous lifting, bending, twisting, and crouching.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
· Obtain Hazmat certification within 1 year of employment
· Normal office environment where approximately 50 of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the Hangars and facilities.
· Exposure to the hangar areas for meetings and employee relations functions for short periods of time.
· Occasional outside local and out of town travel is required involving driving and/or flying.
