Nightwing seeks a Facilities Lead to support operations of a new facility in Dulles, VA. The facilities lead will provide management and support to a small Nightwing staff and subcontractor personnel. The Facility Lead reports directly to Program Management and the Facility Operations Lead to guide the direction and standardization of all our program facilities. The Facility Lead is a critical and demanding role responsible for ensuring the day-to-day facilities operations, and the long-term planning of the facility. The successful candidate will proactively and responsively perform their duties with a key focus on customer service. The Facility Lead will work independently and within a diverse team of stakeholders with various facility plans and execution requirements to enable information technology, security and EH&S requirements compliance and governance standards. Daily support will include coordination of on-site clients, facility ownership, and the Nightwing Program Management. The Facility Lead will plan and execute administrative and logistics functions, facility preventative maintenance activities, EH&S inspections, and support security audits and assessments.

Key Responsibilities
Daily site operations to ensure employees, vendors, and visitors can carry out their duties in a safe and effective manner
Manage and delegate a broad range of facilities inquiries ranging from infrastructure assistance requests such as IT equipment installation and configuration.
Coordinate and oversee vendor management and work performed
Liaise with all stakeholders and provide project coordination support for all building fit-out changes/upgrades and plant & equipment modifications
Coordinate and execute security tasks with Program Security and on-site physical security lead
Plan, execute and resolve on-site EH&S tasks with Program EH&S lead
Oversee and assist with yearly facility operational budget planning
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, knowledge, and proven ability to apply facilities management principles and skills
Microsoft Office Suite experience
Written and verbal communications skills across various audiences
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously or within diverse team structures
Ability to assess existing protocols for lean and agile ways to improve productivity and results

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
