The F135 Sustainment Data Management and Analytics (SDMA) organization supports Sustainment contracts for the F135 engine which powers the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and has a rare opportunity for a new key leadership position within Fleet Data Management (FDM) as Senior Manager, F135 Depot Integration. This position leads a significant portion of the FDM team with the core competency of shepherding of accurate propulsion system data into the Pratt and Whitney Fleet and Inventory Management Systems. Working cross-functionally within F135 Sustainment and in partnership with Engineering (with a focus on Engineering Design and System Integration) is critical to team success.
What You Will Do:
- Team Leadership - Lead local technical teams in the care and maintenance of full fleet life, configuration and maintenance history/future requirements on engines world-wide. Coach, mentor and provide guidance to highly technical team of data support experts. Ensure team members are supported, have clear priorities, and the resources to ensure data quality.
- Continuous Improvement – Maturation of existing processes to CORE level 3. Perform gap analysis of existing processes and establishment of procedures to address gaps. Ensure the enhancement and integration of standard work into our digital product support.
- System Design and Technical Capability Development – Work with the team to identify flaws in current system data handling and advise supporting digital groups on needed tactical enhancements.
- Auditing and Escalation – Support and/or enhance current data quality audit processes to ensure accuracy of key program data. Includes development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (metrics) for the team and defining success. Drive timely validation of module histories for both induction and production of hardware from the depot.
- Stakeholder Communication - Provide timely and effective written and verbal briefs/communications to both internal and external stakeholders pertaining to system current capability, team productivity, proposed enhancements, and celebrate team successes. Support Enterprise Culture of Data Quality Product Quality.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 10 years of Maintenance Management, Maintenance Data Management or Logistics Management Customer Support Field Engineering or Field Support Engineering required.
- 5+ years supervisory or technical team leader experience
- 8 years’ experience as an advanced user or technical support role for one of the following: Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Maintenix, Maximo), Enterprise Resource Management Systems (SAP, JDDE), Configuration Management Systems (Team Center)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or Management discipline
- Experience using analytical skills to drive business results (i.e. developing or monitoring Key Performance Indicators or tools to do so)
- Program and transformation management experience (Demonstrated CORE execution)
- Experience delivering on customer commitments with a focus on results

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
