Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Apache team in Mesa, Arizona.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary liaison between Apache production and the supply chain, ensuring timely availability of parts and materials
- Closely monitors inventory levels and identifying potential shortages, while implementing effective shortage mitigation strategies
- Collaborates with Supply Chain contracting teams and Supply Chain Analysts to enhance delivery performance and resolve any supply-related issues that may impact production schedules
- Analyses supply chain data to forecast demand and optimize inventory management
- Uses strong communication and problem-solving skills for fostering relationships with internal teams to support seamless production operations
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift. Position has a required start time of 5:00 AM
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- More than 3 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 3 years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.
