Purpose of Position
The Director, Brand Experience will be responsible for the development and ongoing integration of FlightSafety’s brand experience in relation to customers, employees, and every brand touchpoint orchestrated by the FSI team.
The Director, Brand Experience will lead a team of marketing professionals and leverage all resources and channels to develop, execute and measure a focused marketing program and brand experiences.
This leader will work closely with all teams across the organization to ensure alignment with business growth goals. Accountability will include defining brand attributes and experiences, digital channel development and execution, partnerships/sponsorships, database management and communication, and all brand awareness building related to PR and social media.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Brand Experience Management
• Develop and uphold the FlightSafety brand identity through the ongoing creation, evaluation, and adherence to defined brand guidelines, including all aesthetic and tonal qualities of the brand as well as the positioning of the brand in the market.
• Uphold brand standards and oversee all representations of the brand, both internal and external experiences, to ensure brand alignment and consistency.
• Accountable for leading and overseeing the development of all FlightSafety creative assets (photography, videos, environment event execution, gifting, etc.)
Channel Management
• Oversee all marketing channel activity.
• Establish and execute brand appropriate channels for the execution of brand experiences; Channel accountability will include but not be limited to website, social media, PR, direct email campaigns, paid media and search, Owner Portal, Owner welcome process and sales materials and events.
• Work directly with the resources and agencies of FlightSafety for partnership and support.
Partnerships, Sponsorships and Events
• Oversee and execute a partnership/sponsorship/events strategy, inclusive of opportunities that align to the overall FlightSafety strategy. This includes the identification of partners that share a mutual customer base to provide the potential for acquisition of future customers and retention efforts for existing customers.
• Partnerships will also include the development and execution of event activations and shared channel promotions. The development of this strategy will complement and enhance the existing vertical strategy, leveraging partnerships and resources as appropriate.
Internal Support
• Collaborate and provide design oversight of all internal initiatives and experiences that represent the FlightSafety brand. This includes but is not limited to HR support, IT support, facility design, and brand merchandise.
• Oversee the support of internal events and aviation industry focused events to ensure all FlightSafety brand experiences are consistent and aligned to the brand identity.
People Leadership
• Develop a high-performing Marketing team through effective, timely performance management, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
