THE WORK

We are seeking a Rotorhead Assembly Supervisor to lead a team of skilled hourly technicians in the Rotorhead Assembly department. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to safety protocols, maintaining production costs, managing schedules, and guaranteeing high-quality performance to support our business units goals and objectives.

As a Rotorhead Assembly Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

Leading the teams productivity while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
Reviewing and investigating COPQ and Discrepancy Reports assigned by manufacturing and/or quality for various issues.
Managing and approving employee timekeeping in the SAP system.
Ensuring thorough communication and actioning of shift turnovers with all applicable team/support employees.
Participating in various business meetings throughout the day.
Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, working closely with all Production team members.
Preparing work schedules, including managing overtime and time-off requests within the SAP system.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring standard work and environment, health, and safety (EH&S) requirements are met.
Promoting an ethics-based business culture within the organization.
Managing both direct and indirect budgets.

You are an experienced supervisor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for safety and quality. Your leadership skills enable you to effectively manage a team, ensuring productivity while adhering to stringent safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements. You are adept at problem-solving, able to review and investigate issues, and you excel in managing employee timekeeping and work schedules.

Basic Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience and/or equivalent experience required
• SAP or similar ERP experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Desired Skills:
• Must be self-motivated, able to function autonomously, well organized, detail oriented and efficient under pressure;
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, team building and problem solving skills;
• Hangar and flight operations experience a plus
• Solid technical and customer interface skills required
• Knowledge of government and company flight procedures a plus
• Previous Sikorsky experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
