Job Summary

The Area General Manager – Aspire Executive Lounges Morocco will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and growth of Aspire’s lounges and hospitality services in Morocco. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational efficiency, and achieving financial targets, all while upholding Aspire’s global brand standards.

Your activities

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead the operations of Aspire Executive Lounges and Fast Track services across nine Moroccan stations, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to deliver a consistent and premium guest experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance, addressing gaps to maintain excellence.
  • Oversee the successful opening of new lounges, including staffing, training, and operational readiness.

Commercial & Financial Leadership:

  • Manage the P&L for the business line, being accountable for its results by ensuring its profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Being Data insights oriented to drive Aspire business in Morocco which will yield business growth.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to attract and retain airline and corporate clients.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow revenue and optimize resources.
  • Key contact to airlines prospects and customers.

Guest Experience:

  • Establish Aspire as the benchspan for premium hospitality in Moroccan airports by delivering seamless and memorable guest experiences.
  • Use guest feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvements in service delivery and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Proactively address and resolve service issues to exceed customer expectations.
  • Possess and build strong competencies and skills in the F&B for the lounges to offer the expected world class experience.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train team members, ensuring alignment with Aspire’s hospitality standards.
  • Implement ongoing training programs to enhance skills and maintain consistent service quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for airport authorities, airline partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent Aspire Morocco in regional and global meetings, aligning local operations with broader company goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including spaneting and sales, to support strategic initiatives.

Health, Safety, and Sustainability:

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to position Aspire as a sustainable hospitality brand in Morocco.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

Your profile

  • 10–15 years of leadership experience in hospitality, aviation, or premium customer service, with multi-site management preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets, improving operational performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in developing and managing diverse teams.
  • Fluency in French, Arabic, and English is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
