Position Overview:

The Airline Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies designed to enhance the value proposition of the Embraer Commercial Aircraft portfolio to support sales activities across the region. This role involves analyzing North American market trends, understanding airline customer fleet and network needs, knowing the competitive product landscape and providing actionable insights to help the company position its aircraft portfolio for success across the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the aviation industry with a premium on aircraft performance, economics, airline fleet and network strategies coupled with the desire to build and maintain strong personal relationships for assigned airline accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer and Competitor Insights

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of airline customers, including their fleet strategies, route networks and business models.

- Develop and nurture personal relationships across the organization for assigned airline accounts

- Analyze competitor activities, market positioning and product offerings to identify competitive advantages and areas for Embraer improvement.

2. Market Research and Analysis

- Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, competitive landscape and potential sales opportunities in the North America marketplace

- Analyze customer financial data and feedback to understand their preferences and needs

- Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes and economic factors impacting the North American airline market

3. Aircraft performance and economics

- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets of aircraft performance and economics to provide insights and recommendations to enhance the value proposition of Embraer’s product offerings marketing

- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations and dashboards to communicate findings to senior management and account team stakeholders

- Track and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives

4. Strategic Planning and Support

- Collaborate with the Embraer global airline marketing team to develop, enhance and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that align with Embraer’s sales objectives

- Assist in the preparation of business cases, proposals and presentations for potential airline clients

- Support the sales team with data-driven insights and recommendations during client engagements and negotiations

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing and development, sales and customer support, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with Embraer’s overall business goals

- Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including airline customers, industry analysts and trade associations

Qualifications:

-Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, economics/finance, Aerospace Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in market analysis, marketing, or business analysis within the aviation industry.

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

- Strong project management skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of aircraft products, aircraft performance and economics, airline operations, and the broader aviation market

-Multilingual skills are a plus

Working Conditions:

- This position requires travel 50 of the time to customer sites across North America, industry conferences throughout the Americas and the company HQ and production facilities in Brazil

- Opportunity to work hybrid schedule in Fort Lauderdale area for part of the work week

- Ability to work and live in USA as a USA citizen or current green card holder
