Essential Responsibilities
Lead the qualification of Additive processes (initial qualification and following process changes) working within the Additive Team to properly set-up the process
Lead the Additive quality team to guarantee the proper management of production ramp-up
Promote the awareness and compliance to the Avio Aero and/or specific Customer and Regulatory requirements
Work in synergy with Quality System to align Avio Aero documentation to regulatory and customer requirements and obtain and maintain relevant certifications
Work across functions to guarantee proper Quality issues management in order to minimize impact on Customer, Deliveries and Costs
Monitor and oversee Additive processes from a quality standpoint to recognize improvement opportunities and work with stakeholders to identify and implement effective Corrective/Preventive action plans
Discuss quality metrics, trends, procedure changes, corrective action status, Lesson Learned etc. with the team members on a regular basis and report Quality metrics/indicators to Leadership
Prepare quality plans, when required
Monitor quality indicators, collect and analyze quality data and take part to the definition and following implementation and monitoring of improvement plans together with technologists
Conduct Root Cause Analysis following customer escapes or other quality issue and prepare reporting documents (APPS, Four corners, 8D Inv. reports, LLC)
Drive Preventive Quality mindset and initiatives (APQP, Producibility, continuous improvement)
Qualifications / Requirements
Masters Degree in Engineering field
Previous experience in Quality and Additive Manufacturing
Problem solving skills, ability to work with tight deadlines
Ability to manage competing priorities and take decisions quickly
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Fluent Italian and English
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
