Position Summary:

In this highly visible role at the PCC Structurals, Large Parts Campus site, the ideal candidate is driven by a strong sense of accomplishment and takes accountability for their actions and results. Critical thinking skills are required as the lead point of contact for all commercial and contractual matters specific to your customer portfolio. It is necessary for you to build and maintain strong, long-lasting internal and external customer relationships, all while complying to all PCC Safety, compliance and quality standards and regulations.

You will be expected to demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision with timely execution in all tasks and projects. Additionally, you will possess the ability to think both strategically and tactically, adapting to various requirements and priorities. You will be asked to identify gaps, solve problems, build reports, business cases, and track metrics and report on them to both internal and external customers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of parts from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing to meet customer requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels. Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to streamline operations and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Utilize internal costing and pricing guidelines to create accurate and competitive quotes and proposals based on customers&39; RFQs (Requests for Quotes) and RFIs (Requests for Information). Develop and execute pricing strategies that align with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Thoroughly examine all Customer P.O.s (Purchase Orders), LTA’s (Long Term Agreements), and other various customer provided documents to ensure they meet and comply with internal and external technical, commercial, and contractual requirements.
  • Manage with accuracy and in detail, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly thruput metrics in your portfolio to achieve timely delivery of products in alignment with both internal objectives and customer expectations
  • Clearly convey the status of monthly and quarterly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure transparency and alignment by providing regular updates and addressing and escalating any concerns promptly.
  • Participate and contribute to daily and weekly sales meetings to prioritize items in your portfolio. Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet delivery deadlines and achieve sales targets.
  • Contribute to SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) meetings which utilizes customer-provided information and internal marketing data to generate accurate forecasts which help ensure that materials and resources are strategically positioned to meet future demands, facilitating proper allocation for upcoming quarters and years.
  • Assist with and escalate high severity requests or issues as needed
  • Identify and leverage potential profit opportunities while maintaining compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of aerospace products, services, and requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and understand commercial, technical and program related data and information in customer specific format
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of customer and PCC management
  • Ability to lead negotiation, marketing and technical expertise in a project or team setting
  • Excellence in communication, organizational and interpersonal relationships&39;
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Fluent with the MS Office suite and other various software platforms including but not limited to ERP systems

Desired Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, finance, engineering, science, or related field of study
  • 6-10 years of account management or other relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of working with investment castings in the aerospace industry
