Job Description

As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing aircraft customization and modification on Bombardier Globals and King Air aircraft. Your role will involve executing sheet metal repairs and modifications on aircraft structures, ensuring high standards of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal repairs and modifications on aircraft structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Fabricate and install sheet metal parts using hand tools and power tools.

Essential Skills

• 6+ years experience performing sheet metal and heavy structural modifications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have own tools that are etched, inventoried, and shadowed.
• PPE such as safety shoes required.

Work Environment

Located at the Hagerstown Regional Airport in Hagerstown, MD, the company operates a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility specializing in military ISR modifications to turboprop aircraft like Kingair and Bombardier Globals. The fast-paced environment in the hangar requires familiarity with production-based operations, where candidates will perform aircraft modifications. The facility is heavily regulated, emphasizing the importance of precision and compliance.

This is a Contract position based out of Hagerstown, MD.

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $48.00/hr.
