Structures Mechanic in Wichita, KS

• We are seeking a Rapid Response Mechanic who is adept at performing Material Review Board (MRB) work statements at the end of line (EOL) and final product verification (FPV) on off shifts.
• Perform work on sheet metal components and major structures of the Boeing 737, performing modifications and assembly.
• Required to move around different sections to address and rectify issues or rework as needed. This position demands flexibility and the ability to work independently, providing support wherever necessary.
• Perform assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and completing precision and other structural and system components, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures.
• Perform functional testing and correcting the fit, form, and function of assemblies and components.

Responsibilities:

• Modifications on sheet metal products
• Major aircraft sheet metal assembly
• Riveting, hiloks, and rigging
• A&P experience with sheet metal
• Pass “Plate Test” prior to starting

Pay:

• Local: $53/hr
  • OT Rate: $79.50/hr
  • Per Diem: $37/hr + $178/day PD for 5 days
  • OT Rate: $82.95/hr

Work Schedule:

• Must be open to 1^st, 2^nd, OR 3^rd shift.
• OT Available.

Placement

Options:

• Contract to Hire (6 months)

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $59.25/hr.
