Job Description

• Perform first/last piece buy off of new or revised products and prepare inspection reports
• Inspect in process & final products in accordance with documented procedures, instructions and using measurement equipment such as Keyence, contour graph, shadow graph, stack projection, caliper, micrometer, and others
• Evaluate compliance of production records such as inspection reports, production routing, quality notification, traceability, etc to ensure product record compliance
• Perform process audits to assess execution to the command media, create reports of audit results
• Support the execution of gauge repeatability and reproducibility (R & R) studies
• Suggest improved measurement methods, gages and holding fixtures as required for in process part validation
• Prepare and maintain inspection data for review
• Evaluate data and draft reports, report relevant deviations from existing standards
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and recommend new methods accordingly
• Communicating quality or compliance concerns with urgency
• Follow inspection instructions and QMS procedure.
