Job Description:

The Aviation Quality Assurance Representative will monitor and evaluate all quality programs for continual compliance to company and regulatory standards. The Aviation Quality Assurance Representative will be responsible for the administration and oversight of the training program.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop audit checklist & conduct internal audits
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Follow-up on corrective actions to ensure implemented and effective
  • Tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Oversee self-audit and vendor audit program
  • Ensure compliance with CFR-mandated programs
  • Maintain alignment with FAA DCT’s
  • Monitor FAA registry and manufacturers websites for new requirements
  • Review audit data to determine discrepancy trends and specific problem areas and report to CASS
  • Assist with receiving inspections, when needed
  • Assist with the disposition of quarantined parts
  • Develop & manage training program, training records, and associated curriculum
Job Requirements:

Education, Licenses, Certifications and/or Years of Experience

  • FAA A&P License required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three (3) years of quality assurance / audit experience in the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
  • Knowledge of QA procedures, audit techniques, and aviation quality programs
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent presentation and written skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple duties, priorities, and special assignments daily, corresponding with operational needs
  • Capability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment and maintain precision under deadlines
  • Aptitude to operate independently in self-directed fashion with initiative
  • Willingness to collaborate with others on direct team and partner organizations
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Enthusiasm for accuracy

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Stooping; bending; twisting; and reaching; and lifting to 40 lbs. may be required in completion of job duties
