Site Overview:GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.

Role Overview:
Meet safety, quality, delivery and cost target of the cell.
Meet QCWI , shop quality requirements and show accountability in day-to-day job.
Perform inspections necessary to complete the work instruction .
Proficient in using ERP system , SAP.
Determines the repair-ability of parts that not meeting the applicable requirements.
Generates applicable documentation and purchase order for the repair of unserviceable parts.
Records the inspection results on the appropriate inspection documentation.
Play an active role in Lean and continuous improvement activities across shop.
Be flexible and perform task assigned by area leader on daily basis.
Ideal Candidate:
An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a technician in aviation / aerospace field.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma in Aerospace or Engineering related fields.
Basic Engineering and Gas Turbine module covered in course syllabus.
Minimum 5 years working experience in performing visual and dimensional inspection of engine parts.
Ability to read, understand and interpret ESM, AMM , CMM and other applicable manuals.
Knowledgeable and proficient in the proper use of precision measuring equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machine, Faro Arm, Keyence and Gelsight and etc.
Working knowledge of the functions and operation of the products being inspected.
Proficient in technical writing.
Candidates must have good eye sight.
