Job Description
As an NDT Inspector, you will perform and oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections using methods such as PT, MT, UT, and ET on aircraft components. You will also be responsible for training, mentoring, and overseeing the certification of NDT Level I personnel according to company policies and applicable regulations and standards. Additionally, you will develop and maintain procedures and documentation for the NDT department to present to the offsite Level III. Ensuring all NDT activities are properly executed and documented, and records are accurately maintained for regulatory compliance and audits is a key part of this role. You will also manage NDT equipment, maintenance, and procurement needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee NDT inspections using PT, MT, UT, and ET methods on aircraft components.
- Train, mentor, and oversee certification of NDT Level I personnel.
- Develop and maintain procedures and documentation for NDT department.
- Ensure proper execution and documentation of NDT activities for regulatory compliance.
- Manage maintenance and procurement needs for NDT equipment.

Work Environment
The position operates on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, typically working 40-45 hours, including some Saturdays. Work in a clean, temperature-controlled service center located in the northern part of Milwaukee. Initial training will require travel to California.
