Mechanical/Electrical Assembler
Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay: $22-25/hr
Location: Westminster, CO
Job Description
We are looking for an Assembler to perform work on motors, blowers, evaporators, condensers, and wiring assemblies. The role involves ensuring the correct work order and clocked time are properly tracked, verifying warehouse pulls, and checking the revision of drawings per the Bill of Material (BOM). You will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings and using various tools to assemble products according to print and released procedures. Additionally, you will troubleshoot quality issues, perform tests, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform work on motors, blowers, evaporators, condensers, and wiring assemblies.
- Ensure correct work order and clocked time is properly tracked.
- Verify the warehouse pull contains the right parts in the correct quantity and raise issues to cell lead or management.
- Check the revision of the drawings per the Bill of Material (BOM) to ensure the part is produced to the right revision.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and EPS/PPP tools, and verify calibration and condition of tools.
- Assemble the product per the print and released procedures to ensure a quality product.
- Safely operate equipment such as die cut, drill press, lathe, mill, and sanders.
- Route to Quality or perform in-process inspection per the procedure.
- Assembler or leadership.
- Perform tests per the test procedure and record results.
- If tests fail, troubleshoot issues and rework as necessary, escalating difficult issues to Assembler or leadership.
- Sign all assembly and test operations and clock out of the job to ensure proper tracking of production.
- Perform foreign object detection (FOD) activities to minimize potential risks.
- Comply with all safety procedures and ensure proper protective equipment usage.
Essential Skills
- Experience with assembly, blueprint reading, mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in performing tests and recording results.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
