PAL Aviation Services is currently seeking a full-time Mechanic to join our team in St. John’s, NL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain airport specific Ground Service Equipment.
- Perform light and heavy maintenance on automobiles.
- Field service as well as shop service for equipment.
- Assist with compiling quotes and procuring parts and equipment.
- Travel to out bases to provide support when needed.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience and/or a certification in vehicle maintenance preferred.
- Red Seal certification would be a preferred asset.
- Experience with airport specific Ground Service Equipment considered an asset.
- Previous experience with diesel engines an asset.
- Must be able to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance.
- Ability to lift upwards to 50lbs.
