PAL Technical Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Maintenance Planning Lead to be located at our base in St. John&39;s, NL.
The purpose of the maintenance planning lead is to provide technical guidance and decision-making to the planners.
Duties:
- Develop and approve work packages for release to production
- Develop long-term forecasts, plan and schedule heavy maintenance plans
- Support the work order process and develop improvements for work order processes
- Prepare billing details, including reconciliation of hours and AWR orders
- Develop and provide regular maintenance forecasting for management
- Provide work order compliance and process support for field staff
- Develop short-term planning forecasts and schedule aircraft maintenance events, working in conjunction with the Planning Administration, Procurement and Maintenance/Engineering to ensure materials requirements are planned and on-site
- Coordinate maintenance planning activities with internal stakeholders, and as and when required, third-party maintenance providers
- Manage internal work orders, including estimate and actual time validations including AWR approvals as required
- Contribute to the Reliability Programme processes and analytical reporting
- Provide system reports for maintenance activities as required by management
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Aircraft Maintenance, with at least three years previous experience in within a multiple aircraft fleet environment
- M1/M2 AME license or equivalent military experience is required
- Detailed knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Schedules, including Maintenance Planning Documents, Time Limits Manuals, Maintenance Schedule Approvals and Airworthiness Limitations
- Previous experience with, and advanced knowledge of, computer-assisted maintenance software. (WinAir)
- Excellent computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Highly organized, Independent and detail-focused and works well in a deadline-driven environment
- Proven ability to identify and implement improvements to processes and increase efficiency
- Fluent English - both spoken and written.
