As a Maintenance Operations Controller, your responsibilities include overseeing all operational maintenance activities to ensure continued airworthiness and safety management, utilizing your technical expertise and industry experience. You will have a high level of knowledge of the A320 series aircraft, coordinating aircraft rescues and defect rectification to ensure prompt return to service and maximize aircraft availability. Additionally, you will be proficient in using aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting and recording systems.
What you need to do the role
As a Maintenance Operations Controller at easyJet, you will be responsible for maintaining oversight of all operational maintenance activities, ensuring continued airworthiness and safety management, utilizing your technical expertise and industry experience. The requirements for this position include a UK/EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 license and the ability to gain easyJet company type authorizations, at least 5 years of operational experience in a line/base maintenance environment with a recent maintenance control background, extensive experience with the Airbus A320 aircraft family, proven experience in a supervisory role within aviation engineering, good knowledge of Part 145 regulations and Airline Part CAMO requirements, including knowledge of CAA, EASA and FOCA legislation, a good understanding of maintenance schedules, the ability to gain and hold a Luton airside pass, strong communication skills, knowledge of the AMOS IT system is beneficial, high standard of leadership, organizational skills, and time management, knowledge of when to escalate and subsequently communicate developing issues to management, a high degree of customer focus, the ability to work effectively in a team and independently, and a willingness to be flexible.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time permanent role will be based in Luton working 12-hour shifts Days and Nights. Shift pattern will 5’s & 4’s on a 28-day rotating roster.
