Job Description:

Prescott Wing & Rotor (PWR) is an authorized Robinson service center and maintains a fleet of Helicopters for Guidance Aviation - a Part 141 flight school, and Guidance Air Service – part 135 & 133 tour, charter, utility, and fire fighting operations. PWR also provides maintenance service for Yavapai County Sherriff's department, and other private owners and operators.

Primary duties include:

Scheduled & Unscheduled maintenance in support of flight operations
Performing 2200 / 12 Year Overhauls on Robinson Helicopters
Supervision and training of A&P mechanic apprentices
Facility, support equipment, tool control, & inventory management
Maintaining aircraft logs & records

USFS UH-1H / 407 carded mechanics may earn additional pay providing relief during the 2024 fire season.

Airframes currently being maintained include:

Robinson R22, R44
MDHI 369FF, 600N
Bell 407, UH-1H

Job Requirements:

FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings
IA preferred but not required
Robinson Factory MX Training preferred, available for qualified candidates
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Can work extended periods safely on ladders and other elevated positions

Salary Range: $40 Hr-$45 Hr
