Maintenance Manager (C-26 Metroliner)

ACET is seeking a Maintenance Manager (C-26 Metroliner) at our California, Maryland location.

This position serves as the focal point in the Contractor’s Program Office for all maintenance activities.  

Responsibilities:

• Provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of aircraft and assists the Program Manager with daily operations to meet contract requirements.
• Administers the operations of the maintenance department per the DCMAINST 8210.1_series
• Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
• Manages, controls, and executes activities to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Provides data necessary to make qualitative decisions about aircraft, equipment, support equipment, material condition, readiness, utilization, maintenance workload, and projected upcoming events.

• Minimum of 15 years of aircraft maintenance experience maintaining multi-engine turbo-prop aircraft (10 years shall be in managing multiple-site aircraft maintenance including fixed-wing aircraft to include complex airframe modifications).
• Prior experience with the Navy C-26 or similar aircraft is preferred.
• Familiarity with FAA Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 91 Progressive Inspection Program, Chapter 5 of the Cessna Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) 560 Maintenance Publications.
• A&P license preferred.
• Prior quality assurance experience in an FAA FAR Part 145 repair station or FAR Part 91, 135, and/or 145 shop management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to pass fit for work physical and/or drug test as required.
• Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, including working overhead. The position requires sitting and/or standing at workbenches and wire boards 99% of the day.
• Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flight line.
• Must be able to man and perform Flightline Extinguisher duties.
• If required must be able to pass a DOT physical and operate Powered Industrial Trucks.
• If required must be able to pass a respiratory physical and wear a respirator for 2 - 4 hours.
• If required must be able to perform confined space activities.
• Position requires repetitive hand use using wire cutters, crimpers, etc. 
• Travel may be required.
