STS Technical Services is hiring Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanics in Lafayette, Louisiana to support aircraft maintenance operations tied to lease return projects.
Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license and have hands-on maintenance and repair experience on S-92 or UH-60 aircraft.
Position Overview
The Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanic will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on rotary-wing aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role supports fast-paced, safety-critical aviation operations with a strong focus on quality and turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance in support of lease return projects
- Complete assigned task cards in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Conduct routine and non-routine inspections
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair rotary-wing aircraft systems
- Remove and replace aircraft components as required
- Perform general structural and mechanical repairs
- Execute operational checks to ensure proper system functionality
- Comply with all safety and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of maintenance operations
Aircraft Experience
Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required
- Minimum of 2+ years of S-92 experience required
- Candidates with UH-60 or VH-92 experience must have 4–5+ years of relevant experience
- Inspection experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and safety requirements
- Ability to complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory standards
- Must be able to pass standard pre-employment requirements including background check and drug screening

- Weekly per diem is offered on top of the hourly rate
- Currently hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift. Candidates must be open to either
