The Licensed A&P Mechanic III is responsible for performing routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft. This experienced mechanic will work across our specialized airframe teams, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft components. Additionally, they will perform engine removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs.
What Youll Do:
- Inspect engine modules and engine components.
- Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality.
- Identifying the status of the engine component and determine if any outstanding modification or airworthiness directive need to be incorporated.
- De-stack/disassemble engine components and/or accessories.
- Record and take measurements while dismantling, document with pictures as required.
- Prepare parts to get cleaned and repaired, clean, inspect, repair parts and balance as required.
- Route repairable parts to appropriate area and place orders as required.
- Assemble engine components and/or assemblies.
- Final release process – checking product for compliance.
- Reads technical specifications to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies.
- Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Closely adhere to all company safety, FAA, and any other regulations, as applicable.
Position Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Minimum of 5 years aviation experience on Learjet, Hawker, Falcon, Challenger, and/or Embraer.
- A current/valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25 of the average workday.
Salary: $33.35 to $41.68
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, StandardAero considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
