Lead Mechanic/MX Planner

Job Description:
- Create, track, and update monthly MX inspection schedule for all Trinity Jet aircraft.
- Track and update aircraft due list for all aircraft and ensure all Work Orders (WOs) are populated with current due lists at all times.
- Ensure WOs are completed in a timely fashion, and ready for billing.
- Lead and perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, and servicing as required under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance.
- Coordinate and direct other technicians as required to accomplish all scheduled and unscheduled MX as required.
- Accomplish Monthly MX schedule while accommodating changes in aircraft flight schedules as required.
- Ensure enough downtime is being scheduled for tasks as required.
- Make sure known required parts are ordered in advance, or as soon as possible.
- Make sure contractors and vendors are arranged with proper notice.
- Communicate with each other.
- Assist the Director of Maintenance with various tasks as required.
- Assist and support Charter Operations (in a limited capacity, but all-hands-on-deck from time to time):
- Facilities management.
- Cleaning and restocking aircraft as required.
- Assisting customers, schedulers, department managers, and executive staff with misc.
errands or tasks as required.
- Maintain a high standard of operation in the MX department as far as:
- Use of equipment,
- Efficiency of MX performed
- Cleanliness of shop,
- Good work ethic and integrity in MX
- A safe work environment with minimal risk of damage or harm to equipment, aircraft, or other personnel.

Job Requirements:
- 5+ Years of experience as an A&P mechanic.
- 2+ Years of experience working on Corporate Jets: King Airs, Hawkers, Citations, Lears, etc.
- Great aircraft troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, schedule, and execute projects with excellence.
- Good communication skills. Good language and grammar skills and the ability to communicate via emails, text, and phone calls efficiently and accurately, as required.
Preferred:
- College Degree.
- 10+ Years of experience working as an A&P mechanic.
- 5+ Years of experience working on Corporate Jets.
