PDS Tech is currently recruiting for an Inspector in Wichita, KS!

Job Title: Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly I4 (Level B)

Job Type: Full-time, Consultant (6 months)
Location: Wichita, KS 67210
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Must be available to work any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)
Pay Rate: $39.00-$43.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection and Interpretation:
- Utilize and interpret drawings, inspection manuals, specifications, and precision measuring instruments.
- Operate specialized inspection machines and equipment as needed.
Quality Management:
- Adhere to Quality Management System Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure tools and processes meet quality standards.
Communication and Computing:
- Maintain good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in computing tasks, including the use of MS Office and SAP.
Process Knowledge:
- Have a broad understanding of production processes.
- Be familiar with company policies, procedures, and specifications.
Record Maintenance:
- Prepare and maintain quality records.
- Follow inspection procedures to approve or reject parts and assemblies.
Cross-Training and Certification:
- Cross-train in equivalent level Assembly, Composite, Metals, and other relevant classifications.
- Maintain required certifications.

Qualifications:

Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection.
- Blueprint reading proficiency.
- Experience writing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Familiarity with MS Office and SAP.
- Must be available for any shift and periods of heavy overtime.
- Prompt and reliable attendance.

This role demands a strong background in aerospace inspection, a solid understanding of quality management systems, and the flexibility to work various shifts, ensuring high standards in fabrication and assembly processes.

Pay Details: $39.00 to $43.00 per hour
