1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $35.61 - $44.89 per hour
Advance Your Career in AerospacePDS Tech Commercial is seeking Flight Readiness Technician Inspectors (Level C) to support the Delivery Center team in North Charleston, SC. This role is an opportunity to contribute to aircraft safety and performance while working with advanced aerospace technology.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Flight Readiness Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring aircraft are fully operational and ready for delivery. Your duties will include:
- Conducting inspections of flight test installations and functional aircraft testing.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and avionics systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Performing pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure all systems function properly.
- Documenting and verifying work performed to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- Supporting system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections and performing necessary aircraft maintenance.
- Collaborating with teams to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards.
Required Qualifications- Willingness and ability to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
- FAA Airframe & Power Plant license or sufficient experience to obtain an FAA Repairman’s Certificate.
- At least one year of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
- One or more years of avionics and/or electrical experience.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with 787 Program.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Formal or informal leadership experience.
- Airline, MRO, or overhaul experience.
- Familiarity with computing and operating systems.
- A&P license is preferred.

Pay Details: $35.61 to $44.89 per hour
