Job Title: Engine Technician
Job DescriptionWith nearly four decades of specialized skills, training, and knowledge, our customers know they can experience the Prime Difference with our PT6A & PT6T MRO services. We are seeking an experienced Engine Technician to maintain, repair, and overhaul PT6A & PT6T engines. This role involves reading and interpreting maintenance and overhaul manuals, replacing or repairing worn, defective, or damaged components, and disassembling, cleaning, evaluating, repairing, and assembling turbine engines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and overhaul PT6A & PT6T engines.
- Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals.
- Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components.
- Disassemble, clean, evaluate, repair, and assemble turbine engines.
Essential Skills- Experience in aviation maintenance environment, preferably on PT6A/PT6T series.
- Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools.
- Experience with engine repair and aircraft maintenance.
- A&P License preferred but not required.
- Pratt & Whitney turbine engine experience is a plus.
- Computer skills including electronic mail, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Valid clear drivers license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Ability to attain a repairmans certificate (18 months of working on engines).
- Must have own hand tools (special tooling will be supplied by the company).
- Department of Homeland Security proof of employment eligibility verification.
- Ability to work in confined workspaces and manual dexterity to work with small tools and component parts.
- Ability to routinely bend and lift up to 40 pounds.

Work Environment
Work inside an air-conditioned environment. The shift is Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. There is a possibility of overtime, though it is not guaranteed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $44.00/hr.
