Summary of Duties:
• Performs skilled inspection activities that involve diagnosis of a variety of electrical parts, harnesses, equipment, components and/or systems.
• Uses diagnostic and test equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.
• Applies principles and practices of electrical and electronics theories.
• Interprets and follows technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices.
• Makes computer entries and completes various types of paperwork inspection and certification documents in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.
• Follows industry/government specific guidelines, particularly as they relate to safety, health and environmental practices.
• Assists with research and development of new capabilities; this will include reading and understanding new manuals and may include on and off site training.
• Assists with the maintenance of shop equipment and supplies.
• Maintains on organized workstation and shop floor in accordance with 5S standards in place.
Job Requirements:

Level 2
Education: High School diploma
Experience: 3 - 5 years.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Other Skills:
•\tThorough understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies, harnesses, and components.
•\tStrong attention to details and work in a fast-paced department
•\tAbility to handle stress diplomatically.
•\tAbility to communicate clearly in English language.
•\tAbility to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, multimeter, flow meters, pressure gauges.
•\tAbility to use electrical measuring equipment such as multimeter and measuring gauges
•\tAbility to safely operate electrical equipment (power supplies) in accordance with company policies
•\tCrimping and Soldering Skills and the ability to determine their adequacy to meet defined requirements.
•\tAbility to read and interpret component manuals and drawings in order to diagnose equipment malfunctions.

Preferred Skills (not required):
•\t2-year technical degree
•\tExperience working in a manufacturing environment
