Job Title: Aviation MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team on a 9-month contract-to-hire basis. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, conducting inspections and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of repair documentation. You will work with a fleet that includes King Air, GA Aircraft, Leer Jet, and Turbo Props.
Responsibilities- Conduct preliminary, progressive, and final inspections under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance.
- Verify that incoming documentation corresponds to the article received for repair.
- Ensure all work and inspections are properly performed, and that records, reports, and forms used by the repair station are accurately executed.
Essential Skills- A&P License is required.
- 2+ years of General Aviation maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with aircraft schematic, maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of turboprop, piston, airframe, aviation, jet, and turbine engines.
- Familiarity with Lycoming/Continental Engines, electrical systems, and avionics electrical components.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a Part 145 repair station with about 10 mechanics and avionics technicians on site. The position is a 9-month contract-to-hire role, with working hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. All necessary tools are provided.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $45.00/hr.
