Job Title: Repair TechnicianJob Description
Perform assembly testing, troubleshooting, and repair of FAA-approved temperature-controlled containers. Manage the warehouse and oversee material movement. Patch holes on cargo containers, and perform deriveting and riveting. Ensure containers are delivered clean and free from defects that would affect operation and/or performance. Respond to technical assistance requests from customers in the area. Provide training and demonstrations of the FAA-approved Active Systems. Document all work performed. Monitor stock of spare parts and handle pick-up and drop-off of RKNs from/to customers. Maintain the repair facility in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
Responsibilities

- Derivet and rivet cargo containers.
- Deliver containers clean and free from defects.
- Respond to technical assistance requests from customers.
- Provide training and demonstrations
- Document all work performed
- Monitor stock of spare parts.
- Pick up and drop off RKNs from/to customers.
- Maintain the repair facility in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
Essential Skills- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Assembly or repair experience
- Structural repair, aviation, sheet metal, HVAC, and electrical knowledge
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Mechanical experience beyond assembly line work
- Basic electrical knowledge
- HVAC or construction experience
- Connection to aviation
- Part 145 experience a plus
- Prior military experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience

Work Environment
This is a repair facility located at ORD. The warehouse is very clean and not temperature-controlled, but stays relatively comfortable. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with first shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and second shift hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
