We are seeking to hire certified assembly technicians for our Installation/Modification Travel Teams. The role involves performing In-Seat Power, Wi-Fi, ACARS & FMS upgrade kit installations on various aircraft types in accordance with aircraft manufacturer manuals, Engineering Drawings, FAR’s, and Company policies. This position is based in Gainesville, FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations with safety and high standards in mind at all times.
• Conduct avionics troubleshooting and modifications.
• Handle wire harness installations.
• Utilize basic tools and adhere to installation guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.

• Experience in aircraft repair and aviation.
• Avionics troubleshooting and modifications.
• Avionics installation.
• Possession of an A&P License.
• Possession of an Airframe License.
• Basic set of tools.

• Sheet metal experience is advantageous but not required.
• Experience levels from entry to 1-5 years are welcome.
• Ability to be assigned to a road team for a minimum of 30 days at a time.
• Ambition to work as a true team player in the Travel Road Team.

We are a woman-owned small business with a long history of providing low-cost, high-quality integration and modifications for private, commercial, and government operators. Our company maintains a full in-house engineering and manufacturing staff, including draftsmen, DERs, DARs, flight test DERs, and technical writers. We specialize in custom integration solutions from concept to completion.

Work Environment

You will work 7 days a week with 12-hour days and need to be flexible on work hours, starting at 7 am until as late as 7 pm. Work is performed in teams of 5-10 people. You will be part of a highly respected team known for top-notch jobs for Regional Carriers. The company closes for the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.75 - $41.75/hr.
