- Experience countersinking drilled holes to a .187-inch tolerance or less
- Experience installing CherryMax fasteners, Jo-bolts, and HiLok fasteners
- Experience shooting and bucking solid rivets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- A certificate of completion for the Assembly Mechanic program from Florissant Valley Community College
Typical Education / Experience:
High school graduate or GED. Prefer a minimum of one (1) or more years of related work experience.
Additional Information:
- The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.
- This is an hourly position governed by the IAM Collective Bargaining agreement.
- New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. All new employees, rehires without seniority or transfers from outside of IAM 837 jurisdiction, shall be regarded as probationary during their first one hundred twenty (120) calendar days of employment. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of any required training and the probationary period.
