Job Title: Aircraft Structural TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin a dedicated team working on the FSAM Program, where you will be instrumental in performing classified heavy modifications on various fixed-wing military aircraft. This role requires no security clearance on day one, and you will have the opportunity to obtain one as part of your career development.
Responsibilities- Perform classified heavy modifications on various fixed-wing military aircraft.
- Conduct service extensions, depot-level maintenance, and C/D level heavy checks.
- Work on airframes such as U-28, C-147, C-146, C-145, and A-29.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently according to technical schematics and blueprints.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in aircraft structures, particularly sheet metal work.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprint schematics.
- Experience in aircraft modification and depot-level maintenance.
- Familiarity with tools such as rivet guns for aircraft sheet metal repair.
- Aviation maintenance and modification experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Must own a shadowed toolbox with tools etched or colored by Day 1.
- Stable job history is required, as candidates with frequent job changes are not preferred.
- Pass a basic sheet metal test on Day One.
- If only military experience, must have 6+ years in aviation structures (SHEET METAL) experience.
- If civilian experience is present, total years required can be lowered to at least 3+ years.

Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled FAA-regulated hangar. Shifts may vary, with most employees on the first shift, but flexibility is required to work second shifts if needed. Enjoy a work schedule that rarely includes weekends and offers the potential for overtime based on program needs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
