Job Description

We are looking for aircraft maintenance technicians to join our fun and supportive organization. You will perform maintenance on aircraft systems and sub-systems as directed. Responsibilities include disassembly, inspection, build-up, and operational checks of systems and components. Our reputation for excellence and professionalism means we hire only the best people. You would be responsible for:

• Performing routine maintenance on mechanical, structural, power plant, interior, and avionics systems of aircraft.

• Disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of mechanical, electrical, and interior systems and components.

• Completing paperwork relating to tasks performed with detailed documentation per I/A/W Federal Aviation Regulations in a timely and professional manner.

• Ensuring safe and standard maintenance practices associated with an FAA repair station.

• Occasional overtime.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks as prescribed in Service Dept Competency Manual
  • Understanding of FARs and regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance
  • Ability to handle and resolve technical issues and problems
  • Ability to effectively utilize technical documentation and literature

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

Working in a hangar. Warmer in the summer, colder in the winter. Current openings on 1st and 2nd shift. Pay between $25-40.00/hr. based on experience.

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (2 dollar shift differential)

1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
