Job Description:

The AMT reports to the Director of Maintenance for all company maintenance activities and is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Maintaining and inspecting company aircraft in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations and AMM, LMM, and OEM specifications
  • Performing launch and recovery of aircraft within reasonable windows of operation
  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
  • Performing troubleshooting and maintenance on all aspects of company aircraft including airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems, and determining MEL / NEF applicability when appropriate
  • Providing accurate, timely, and concise communication with the Director of Maintenance and Operational Control regarding the status of all planned and unscheduled maintenance as required
  • Completing all aircraft maintenance paperwork and aircraft logs in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining all company property, and notifying management when repairs are needed
  • Assisting with regular maintenance of the company-calibrated tooling, parts control, and shelf life limited inventory
  • Maintaining company safety standards in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Notifying the Director of Maintenance of any instances of actual or potential safety compromise.
  • Assisting with preparation for any required audits, as applicable to maintenance operations
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director of Maintenance at his/her discretion
Job Requirements:
  • Applicant must have an active Airframe and Powerplant License and current/valid driver’s license
    • A valid US Passport or Visa to work in Canada is preferred but not required
  • Must pass DOT-required drug screening and subsequent DOT-mandated random drug and alcohol screenings
  • Must have complete physical mobility and be able to lift up to 75lbs
  • Minimum 5 years experience working on Cessna Citation XL/XLS (CE-560XL/XLS), and Citation X (CE-750) experience or,
    • 5 Years Experience in an AOG / Line Service environment working on corporate business aircraft
  • Basic tooling to support maintenance in a line service / AOG environment
  • Have an understanding of the Part 135 requirements for aviation safety, maintenance, and operation
  • Be available for reasonable after-hours response (or management-approved delegation of same)
  • Available for up to 20% travel annually as needed to perform these duties at remote locations for AOG support, or scheduled maintenance oversight
  • Available to work holidays if required
  • Compliance with company privacy regulations

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience using industry-standard maintenance tooling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Teams
  • Able to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Self-motivated
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Ability to adapt to last-minute changes in plan, and pivot accordingly to create the best possible outcome for the owner aircraft and company
  • Able to work in a small team environment, or individually, to achieve the goals of the maintenance department
Salary Range: 85000-120000
Travel: Available for up to 20% travel annually as needed
