Position Overview:
The A&P/IA Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various aircraft, with a particular emphasis on Cessna & Cirrus models, and some turbine jets, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, engines, and avionics systems.
- Detect and rectify defects during scheduled maintenance.
- Respond to unscheduled maintenance needs as they arise.
Inspections:
- Conduct thorough inspections following FAA guidelines and ensure that aircraft comply with the Federal Aviation Regulations (Part 145).
- Support the service center during aircraft annual and 100-hour inspections.
Documentation:
- Complete and maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of all parts inventory, tools, and equipment.
Safety and Quality:
- Adhere to and promote company safety standards and practices.
- Ensure the highest quality of workmanship in all tasks performed.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to aircraft owners and operators.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments related to aircraft models, especially Cirrus.
Continuous Learning:
- Attend workshops, trainings, and seminars to enhance technical proficiency.
