Davcor Aviation Services is seeking entry-level Aircraft Fuel Tank Maintenance Technicians to support aircraft fuel system and fuel tank maintenance operations. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and interested in building a career in the aviation maintenance industry.

Technicians in this role will work in a safety-sensitive, FAA-regulated environment alongside experienced aviation professionals.

• Assist with aircraft fuel tank maintenance, inspection, and repair

• Support fuel tank entry, cleaning, sealing, and component removal/installation

• Use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment to complete assigned tasks

• Follow technical data, work instructions, and company procedures

• Work safely in confined spaces while wearing required PPE

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools

• Ability to work in confined spaces (required)

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to follow technical data and detailed work instructions

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Valid driver’s license

• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening, including:

  • FAA-mandated drug test

  • Background check

• Must provide basic personal hand tools

• Previous aviation, mechanical, industrial, or maintenance experience

• Familiarity with safety-sensitive or regulated work environments

• Interest in long-term career growth within aviation maintenance

The responsibilities and duties while performing maintenance include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform day-to-day planned and unplanned aircraft maintenance on aircraft

• Perform maintenance in compliance with company manuals, approved technical data, and applicable federal regulations

• Maintain and properly use related tools and equipment

• Perform all work tasks with a high level of quality, safety, and attention to detail

• Ensure all required paperwork and maintenance records are completed accurately and handled in accordance with company manuals and federal regulations

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language clearly

• Ability to squat, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods

• Ability to work from maintenance stands, lifts, and lift trucks

• Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods of time

• Ability to crawl inside aircraft fuel tanks

• Ability to read wire diagrams and understand technical instructions at varying levels of complexity

• Ability to follow and disseminate detailed work instructions

• Work performed in hangar, ramp, and aircraft environments, including exposure to industrial conditions and varying weather

• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities and duties may change based on operational needs, including emergencies, workload changes, rush jobs, or technical developments

• Hourly pay: $17-$19 per hour
