Job Title: AME Seat Tech - Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic specializing in AME Seat Technology to join our team. You will work on advanced aircraft models including the F/A-18E, F/A-18F, and Super Hornet, focusing on aircraft modifications and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain various aircraft egress systems such as seat and canopy ejection, gaseous and liquid oxygen, ejection seats, fire extinguishing, air conditioning, cabin and cockpit heat, pressurization, and ventilation.
- Remove and install oxygen system valves, gauges, converters, and regulators.
- Inspect, remove, install, and rig ejection seats, shoulder harnesses, and lap belts.
- Inspect, remove, install, and adjust firing mechanisms and cartridges for ejection seats.
- Perform daily, preflight, post-flight, and other periodic aircraft inspections.
Essential Skills
- Must have Navy/Marine Corp AME NACES certification.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 recent years of experience performing depot-level/heavy checks experience on any aircraft.
- Experience includes equipment overhauls and modifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with F/A-18E, F/A-18F, F-18, and Super Hornet aircraft.
- CDI or CDQAR certification is preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment includes both 1st Shift (M-F 5:30am-2:30pm) and 2nd Shift (M-F 2pm-10:30pm) with optional overtime. Must be open to work any shift. The facility is an open-bay, non-climate controlled environment. Employees will be able to expense $100 per year for Steel Toed Shoes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
