Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job DescriptionA well-established flight operation and maintenance facility in the Bay Area is seeking skilled A&P Mechanics to join its team. With a diverse fleet of 63 general aviation aircraft, we specialize in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services. We are looking to hire one entry-level and three experienced mechanics to support ongoing maintenance operations. The ideal candidate has general aviation (GA) experience, particularly with piston-engine aircraft such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Diamond, and Cirrus. Candidates with Inspection Authorization (IA) are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on GA aircraft
- Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with FAA regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and avionics issues
- Complete accurate and timely maintenance records
- Collaborate with flight operations to ensure aircraft availability
Essential Skills- FAA A&P Certification
- General aviation maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must have basic tools (company provides a monthly tool stipend)
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
- Experience with piston-engine aircraft such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Diamond, and Cirrus preferred

Work Environment
The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor hangar settings. The schedule is Monday to Friday with two shifts available: 8am - 4:30pm or 11:30am - 8pm. Flexible shifts are offered to accommodate commute times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
