The A&P Technician position is designated for the Global Jet program at the Tucson Business Aircraft Service Center. You will perform routine inspections, repairs, and modifications on customer aircraft. You will also complete inspections as required by maintenance programs, modification and inspection packages, and troubleshoot aircraft systems. Ensure that all tasks assigned are completed and documented in accordance with manufacturers manuals or other FAA-approved data. Must apply knowledge of the use and research of numerous airframe manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, repairs, and modifications on customer aircraft.
• Complete inspections as required by maintenance programs, modification and inspection packages.
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Ensure that all tasks assigned are completed and documented in accordance with manufacturers manuals or other FAA-approved data.
• Apply knowledge of the use and research of numerous airframe manuals.
• Perform repairs and modifications as required.
• Perform only authorized work.
• Promote safety.
• Advise supervisor/lead of job status at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping habits.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform assigned work to established standards and estimates routinely.
• Perform system functional tests as required by maintenance programs and logically diagnose malfunctions.
• Understand and interpret prints.

• A&P license
• 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificates required
• Minimum of 3 years of Global or Bombardier product aircraft experience

• Experience on business aircraft desired but not required

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled facility on the south side of Tucson International Airport. Most candidates will be required to work swing shifts, as most of the maintenance is done at night. The first week of employment will be spent in Bombardiers orientation class.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00/hr.
