Job Title: A&P MechanicJob Description
The A&P Technician troubleshoots, repairs, inspects, and performs maintenance on customer aircraft. The technician performs and documents all work according to appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
- Operate ground support equipment as required
- Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations
- Assist with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft
- Assist with engine removal/installation
- Assist with aircraft component repair
Essential Skills- Aircraft maintenance
- A&P license
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P Certificate
- At least 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
- Effective communication skills in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status
- Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
- Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime including non-scheduled workdays and holidays
- Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
- Experience on corporate jet aircraft/military fixed-wing/commercial aircraft (preferred)
- Basic PC skills (preferred)
