Job Description

Install kits on new aircraft, including air conditioners, sliding doors, rescue hoists, and FAST rope systems. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframe and engine, including the removal and replacement of engine and major airframe components. Conduct sheet metal repairs and fabricate sheet metal and composite parts as required. Disassemble and reassemble aircraft and perform post-maintenance flight test duties. Execute major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications. Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.

Responsibilities

• Install Bell, AA, and other aftermarket kits on new aircraft, including air conditioners, sliding doors, rescue hoists, and FAST rope systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframe and engine, including the removal and replacement of engine and major airframe components.
• Conduct sheet metal repairs and fabricate sheet metal and composite parts as required.
• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft.
• Perform post-maintenance flight test duties.
• Execute major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.
• Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.

• A&P license
• 4 years of rotary experience
• Experience with rotary wing aircraft
• Experience with Bell helicopters

• Experience with Bell 407, 412, 429

Work Environment

Work in a hangar/customization/completion center. The dress code includes jeans, work pants, and in the summer, decent shorts. Closed-toe shoes are required, but steel-toed shoes are not necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PINEY FLATS, Tennessee.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
