• Perform assembly, inspection, repair & rework of small unmanned aircraft & associated system components using best practices & manufacturer procedures/directives.
• Make small unmanned aircraft system airworthiness determinations.
• Maintain maintenance & alteration records via an electronic logbook.
• Generate & track malfunction, defect & reliability reports.
• Recover & refurbish end-of-life components/parts.

What You'll Need:

• FAA Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant license.
• At least 2 years training related to electrical & mechanical inspection, rework & repair, and assembly of aircraft systems.
• Training or experience creating and managing assembly & maintenance records.
• Training or experience organizing and tracking parts & consumable supplies.
• A detail and process oriented work ethic.
• Ability to work under limited supervision within an operations team.
• Strong communication skills.

Bonus:

• 1 or more years experience maintaining small unmanned aircraft & related systems.
• Knowledge of DC power systems, PWM (pulse width modulation) controls, CAN (controller area network) bus architecture & LiPo (lithium polymer) battery systems (charging & safety).
• Knowledge & experience with Linux command line, file structure, networking syntax.
• Google G Suite experience.
• Experience working in a quality process controlled environment.
• Demonstrable wire & terminal soldering skills.
• Graduate of an aviation, electrical or mechanical trade school or university program.
