We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Aviation A&P Mechanic to join our maintenance team and help ensure the safety and performance of our aircraft.

Position Overview:

As an Aviation A&P Mechanic at Bravo Flight Training, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our diverse fleet of aircraft.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our aircraft are in optimal condition, complying with FAA regulations, and meeting our high standards for safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on aircraft, including airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems.
  • Perform inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of aircraft models.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Collaborate with flight instructors and staff to address any aircraft-related issues and ensure minimal disruption to flight schedules.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, technical advancements, and changes in FAA regulations.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Job Requirements:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic, preferably with experience in general aviation.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft systems, and maintenance procedures.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, manuals, and other technical resources.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff and students.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, if needed.
Salary Range: $50000-$60000
