Direct Hire:

• $30 - 45/hr DOE, plus $300 bonus per airline callout
• Relocation up to 3K, sliding scale based on distance/location

Contract to hire:

• Pay breakdown (total package $50 to 60/hr equivalent, plus $300 callout bonuses).
• Base pay $26.5 - 36.5/hour DOE
• Overtime is 1.8 x base pay: $45.70 - 65.70/hour
• Per diem: $188/day up to 5 days

• We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to be responsible for the maintenance of piston General Aviation and corporate turboprop aircraft, including KingAir, Cessnas, and other PT6 powered aircraft.
• The role also includes occasional line maintenance on narrow-body airline aircraft such as Boeing and Airbus models.
• The majority of work will be conducted at our Bend hangars, with some time spent at the Redmond hangars and airline ramp, servicing nine airlines.

• Perform maintenance on piston General Aviation and corporate turboprop aircraft.
• Conduct line maintenance on narrow-body airline aircraft including Boeing and Airbus models.
• Spend most time working at Bend hangars, with some duties at Redmond hangars and airline ramp.
• Be on call for evenings and weekends every three weeks (moving to every four weeks with additional staff).
• Handle simple maintenance tasks, MELs, and deferments during callouts.

• A&P license Required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent General Aviation maintenance experience
• Experience with maintenance, avionics, repair, troubleshooting, and electrical work on aircraft
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, extensions, and a flashlight
• Eligibility for SIDA badge with required paperwork (valid US birth certificate or passport, plus valid driver’s license)
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, climb stepladders, and work in cramped conditions in General Aviation aircraft

• Preferred: Airline line maintenance experience
• Preferred: Experience working on KingAir or other PT6 engine aircraft
• Highly preferred: Interest in a direct hire position or starting direct on a DP

• Work is conducted in several aircraft hangars adjacent to an FBO at Bend OR municipal airport and Redmond Municipal Airport, which are about 25 minutes apart.
• The regular shift is 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with additional line maintenance callouts on a rotating weekend and evening schedule.
• The callout week can be hectic with quick-turn/line maintenance tasks, requiring dedication and problem-solving skills.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
